OK, how beautiful is this couple...?

Earlisha had contacted :Dave in an online search for a photographer who could capture their love on images :) Earlisha is visiting her boyfriend Marcus from Texas this week, as Marcus is "home" in Hawaii, in the navy. She wanted to take some very special photos before he leaves for this naval deployment tour in January 2010.

Earlisha and Marcus followed :Dave around yesterday to 4 picturesque locations on the beautiful east side of Oahu for these romantic shots of this sweet couple.

It was easy for :Dave to capture them emotionally, when sincerity shows through in beautiful couples such as Earlisha and Marcus.

We wish you both a wonderful and memorable visit together guys...! And Marcus, we are proud of you and your contributions as one of our military heroes. Best and safe wishes to you on your upcoming deployment tour ~

Here we go, here we go...! Krystle and Mark's Wedding day coverage...!

Bright, fun, cartoon-ish shades of yellows, and chartreuse played as a backdrop to their humble yet quirky personalities :) :Dave and our fabulous Assistant photographer John Hook captured them, their family and friends in their most individual style...!

In what has to be the most ANIMATED couple for us to work with, to date so far, we had the pleasure of working with Mark and Krystle for both this fun China Town day and evening urban shoot, as well as their Wedding Day shoot, this past weekend..!

We met Mark's mom earlier this year at the January Bridal Expo here in Honolulu, she was doing some wedding resource research for Mark and Krystle, who both live and work in the artistic graphic arts field in California, in the television industry. Mark's mom was immediately drawn to our booth, as we had a bit of an animated draw to our corner too, to catch her eye (mine and Dave's HUGE comic pop art print). Well, as it turned out, Mark's mom knew in an instant that because of our own quirkiness, that :Dave would be the perfect fit for Mark and Krystle.

Upon meeting them a few months later, and getting to know them, we COULD NOT WAIT to work with them, as :Dave knew they were a perfect match for the style of shooting :Dave was so anxiously anticipating to dive into. SIMPLE. ARTSY, QUIRKY. INNOCENT. FUN. "LOVE on film" (or digital images...ha ha)...

What an honor for us to have such "salt of the earth" friends... :Dave was asked by our high profile Photographer pals Geralyn Camarillo of Hokulii Images, Arna Johnson of Arna Photography, and Debbie Friedrich of Debbie Friedrich Photography to capture them in portraiture last week!

Best friends (or BSS "Best Soul Sistahs") for many many years now, these three ladies exude what comes naturally to them: confidence, a never-ending funny bone, and a deep commitment to their friendship with each other.

It was a different feeling for all of these ladies to be on the receiving end of the lens, as all of them are Masters behind the camera. But after a couple of test shots, all flowed naturally as they were just as all of us girls are...giddy, and true pals for life. We are blessed to have them as some of our own best personal friends, and truly it was a very special, special, photo session for all of us involved.

I love the Big Island! And when I got a chance to shoot a Lauren & Christopher's wedding I was all over that! Naalehu and Pahala is such a beautiful place.
